Back in 1975, Alan Lennox Motors first opened for business. For 25+ years, Alan solely owned and operated the workshop, growing it to become one of the city’s most well-respected independent Mercedes-Benz service centres. Today, Marcello Spadafora sits in the driver’s seat. He joined Alan Lennox Motors in 1997as an apprentice, quickly becoming a valuable member of the team. He and Alan went into partnership in 2001.Then, in 2012, Marcello took over the entire business. ALM employs 10 staff and services more than 1,000 Mercedes-Benz vehicles every year. In 2022, ALM moved from Bulleen to a new site in Doncaster, signalling the next era of the family-owned, highly-regarded business.
